About the Game

What is Paintball?

Paintball is a one of the fastest growing sports in Europe, combining physical speed and agility with quick thinking and tactical awareness.

Provided with a mask, overalls and a marker gun you and your team must outsmart the opposition using the woodland as cover. The teams will be pitted against one another in a number of scenarios that will test the players both mentally and physically.

At Acton Adventures you are guaranteed an exhilarating and action packed experience that will set your adrenalin racing and leave you hooked on paintball!

Games Area

At Acton Adventures we have developed an open and bright games area that maintains the natural beauty of the woodland whilst providing enough cover to avoid the enemy fire!

We have constructed a number of signature features that form the basis for a number of the game scenarios and give Acton Adventures its unique identity.

Games Area

Game scenarios include:
Raid The Fort - Where the attacking team must battle up the valley to Acton Fort where they must capture the enemy flag.

Protect The President - Here the defending team must safely accompany thier elected 'President' to the safe house, deep inside enemy territory.

Equipment

Acton Adventures only supply their players with top quality paintball equipment. Each participant will be issued with an Inferno semi-automatic paintball marker, capable of firing paintballs at a velocity of up to 280 feet per second and will shoot as fast as the player can pull the trigger!

Scott Vectra anti-fog goggles are supplied and ensure a comfortable fit and maximum safety. Each player will also receive a set of camoflage overalls and hood - we stock a variety of sizes.

What are Paintballs?
Paintballs are not made of paint. They are soft gelatine capsules containing a mixture of vegetable oil and food colour. They are non-toxic, water soluble and biodegradable. When a paintball hits a target, the thin gelatine skin splits open as it is designed to do, and the liquid inside makes a "paint" mark on the target.

NOTE: Only equipment supplied by Acton Adventures is permitted on site. Players are NOT permitted to use their own Markers or Paintballs.

Safety

Although we aim to provide a fun and exciting experience, safety on site is our FIRST priority. All players must strictly adhere to the Acton Adventures Rules and Regulations and pay heed to all safety signs throughout the site. All players will be given a full safety briefing at the beginning of the day and must sign the disclaimer before being allowed to participate.

Marshals are on hand throughout the day and players must obey all safety instructions given by them - their word is final. They are passionate about the sport of paintball and it is their job to ensure fair and safe play by all participants.

REMEMBER: If in doubt ASK a Marshal - that is what they are there for.
