About Us

Acton Adventures is situated in an area of deciduous woodland within the 250 acres of Acton House Farm, Poyntzpass. We are conveniently situated on the border of counties Armagh and Down, 45 minutes drive from Belfast and 1 hour 15 minutes from Dublin. Click here for directions.

The Games Area.

With its beautiful surroundings, Acton Wood provides the perfect arena for the sport of paintball, with a bright treetop canopy providing shelter and the open woodland floor providing an uncluttered games area rich in natural cover. We have tried hard to maintain the natural aspect of the wood, whilst adding a number of features to enhance the gaming experience.

The Site

The entrance to the Acton Adventures site is directly off the Tandragee Road approximately a mile from Poyntzpass village. There is a secure car park on site with space for up to 40 cars. Within the car park there is a cabin that provides secure changing and briefing facilities and shelter in inclement weather. There are toilets and hot and cold running water on site.

Who We Cater For

At Acton Adventures we can cater for a variety of groups depending on size and budget. We can provide tailored packages to suit the individual requirements of your group. The groups most commonly catered for are:

Corporate - Acton Adventures can provide a package to suit all your business needs from team building to employee incentive programmes. We aim to provide a fun yet challenging day out that will encourage team work and involvement. We can also organise conference facilities, guest speakers, accommodation and catering. Friends and Family - Why not get together for a fun and exciting day out. You don't need an excuse - just a group of friends and/or family. we can cater for groups of up to 40 players. Don't worry if there are only a small number of you - we can try and pair you up with another group.

Birthday Parties - Treat someone to the ultimate surprise and an unforgettable birthday - we can supply all you need from balloons to cake!

Stags and Hens - We can provide the perfect activity to clear the heads and set your stag or hen party up for the night ahead. We can organise accommodation, meals and transport to and from the site.

Clubs and Teams - We can organise a day to set your club or team up for the season or competition ahead, encouraging team building and tactical appreciation that will boost morale. Contact us for details and advice on planning your event.

The Day

Your day at Acton Adventures will begin with a welcome from your Marshals, a cup of tea or coffee and a full equipment and safety briefing. You will then be issued with your equipment upon which you will proceed to the practise range for a chance to get your eye in and also avail of a few hints or pointers from the staff!

It will then be time for the games to begin - you will be split into two teams who will compete against each other in a number of scenarios that will test your teamwork and strategic thinking to the limit!

Each game lasts about 10-20 minutes and between games you will have a chance to reload (there will be extra paint on sale during the day), clean masks and discuss tactics! There will be a constant supply of complimentary tea and coffee, and a range of snacks on sale. During a full day there will be a break for lunch - this can be supplied on request and can range from a simple sandwich?or a BBQ. Contact us for details.
