Frequently Asked QuestionsWhat should I wear?You are going to be running around in the woods for a few hours so expect to get dirty! Old clothes and trainers or walking boots are recommended. Acton Adventures supplies overalls and changing facilities are provided for before and after the games. Do I need to book?Pre-booking is essential. Acton Adventures does not cater for players turning up at the site because equipment is allocated according to the number of players booked. You can book by phone on 07721 86 86 85 or contact us here. Do I need to bring a large group?We cater for groups of up to 40 players and games are best played among groups of at least 20. However, if a smaller number want to play we can mix you in with groups that are already booked on that day. How much deposit do I need to pay?Acton Adventures requires a deposit for each player to reserve their place. The amount of deposit required depends on the size of the group. Please contact us?for details. The deposit must be received at least 14 working days before the game day and is non-refundable as per our Terms & Conditions. How can I pay my deposits?You can pay your deposits over the telephone using a credit or debit card by calling 07721 86 86 85. Alternatively, you can send a cheque made payable to ?ACTON ADVENTURES? to: Acton Adventures Reservations, 6 Lisnabrague Bungalows, Poyntzpass, Newry, Co. Down, BT35 6RA. If sending a cheque, please remember to enclose full details of your booking and a contact telephone number. How many paintballs will I use?You can expect to use at least?800 balls on a full day and?500 on a half day. There is extra paint on sale during the course of the day should you run out. Do you offer group discounts?Group discounts are available for groups of over 30 players. We also offer various organiser and repeat business discounts. Catering can be organised on request. This can range from a simple packed lunch to BBQ?s on site, or discounted rates at a local restaurant. There is plenty of shelter provided for briefing and changing. Can I use my own marker/gun?No. In fact there?s really no reason why you need to use your own marker (gun). Acton Adventures issues top-of-the-range, semi-automatic weapons as standard to all of its players. These markers are capable of firing up to seven shots per second. Can I bring my own paintballs?No. Only paintballs sold on site may be used on that particular game day. In this way we can ensure they not only meet all insurance and health & safety standards, but are also fully biodegradable. For safety reasons, any players bringing their own paintballs on to the site will be immediately ejected. No refunds will be given in these circumstances. |
